About Polkadot Pig
There's not a lot to know about us. We are moms living in the Valley in Southern California. We know lots of people having babies and we wanted to give them something that would be special, both for the parents and the kids.
No matter how long we shopped, we couldn't find just the right thing in the stores. We yearned for something with the special warmth of the things we made for our own children.
Having watched the relationship grow between our kids and their own special quilts, blankets, and pillows, we knew we could only get that magic with lovingly handmade items. So, we made a few more.
They were a hit with the babies, so soon our friends wanted some to give to their friends, and so on...
So -- when we get a moment's peace from our kids -- we make the quilts and pillows (by hand).
